Regional Coordinators
GAIAI Regional Coordinators are responsible for ensuring a smoothly running region by working collaboratively with members, volunteers, officers, and board members in support of the planning and coordination of training locations and encouraging new and continued membership primarily, but not exclusively, for their assigned region.
What Can My Regional Coordinator Help With?
Your Regional Coordinator is available to:
- Welcome new GAIAI members and serve as a local point of contact.
- Answer questions about GAIAI membership, programs, and events.
- Identify training needs within your region.
- Recommend potential training locations and host agencies.
- Share information about upcoming GAIAI educational opportunities.

Georgia’s forensic community is diverse, with professionals serving in agencies of all sizes across every corner of the state. The Regional Coordinator Program helps ensure that every region has a voice in the Association and that training opportunities and member resources continue to reflect the needs of forensic professionals statewide.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is part of a “trial run” to determine if the organization will proceed in establishing the role of Regional Coordinators. During this year long “trial run” participants will be expected to produce a quarterly report for review by the Board of Directors.
